Let me tell you a little about myself.

My training

I am a native of the Philippines and a Registered Nurse by profession. I finished a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. Xavier University is one of the top performing nursing schools in the Philippines. It usually ranks 1st, 2nd or 3rd in Local Nursing Board Exams.

My passion to be a nurse

Ever since I was small, I aspired to be a part of the healthcare industry. I always excelled in science, and was completely fascinated with the medical field. As a child, my mother worked at a local health organization. She always brought me to her office after school each day. There I watched her assist doctors in performing medical procedures. Her example is what inspired me to be a nurse.

My passion to write medical articles

After I successfully passed the board, I immediately began pursuing another passion of mine - to write articles on medically related topics. My goal as a writer has always been to educate people around the world about various medical conditions and their corresponding nursing interventions.

Since 2011 I have been a ghost writer for several medical websites. This is the first website where I have been given proper credit for my articles. It is my great pleasure to write articles that excel, providing the best information available for the health related concerns of my readers, especially answers to constipation.

Ongoing training and service opportunities

I am currently attending seminars and various training opportunities at the Red Cross and at local hospitals. I also am constantly reading to stay up to date on the latest medical and nursing interventions.

In the future I plan to work as a volunteer abroad, helping a community of young adults who have intellectual disabilities. I look forward to using my nursing skills to make a difference in their lives.
